London’s warming: The impacts of climate change on London
2 November 2002London can expect weather that is slightly drier overall, but with more rain in winter. We expect the weather to be warmer on average, and with more frequent extremes, such as hot dry summers. In addition, the sea level is expected to rise, more in the South East than elsewhere in the UK.
The Study looks at a broad range of impacts across issues such as flooding, water resources, health, the built environment, transport and other infrastructure, business, tourism, biodiversity, lifestyles.
