2071: The World We’ll Leave to Our Grandchildren is about the climate: how it has changed in the past, how and why it is changing now, and the need for humanity to act to avoid dangerous disruption in the future. In December 2015 in Paris, the world’s nations will meet to agree on a course of action to respond to climate change.
2071 explains what is happening and what more we need to be doing to protect future generations.
Chris Rapley, former Director of the British Antarctic Survey and the London Science Museum, is currently Professor of Climate Science in the Department of Earth Sciences at University College of London. He is also LCCP Chair and Chair of the European Space Agency’s High Level Science Policy Advisory Committee.
